Sue Chickman, who was one who originally reported the geese on Dec. 31, and I saw both geese again this morning at 11:25 AM. We scoped them from Marine Drive above Cline Spit County Park. They were on the smaller of two islands temporarily exposed by the low tide north of the Oyster House. There were over 100 Bald Eagles around the Bay and twice individual eagles flew at the geese and they flushed from the beach to alight in the water at a different nearby location, whereupon they swam to another spot on the island. We saw one goose with a long sea weed frond (possibly eel grass) dangling from it's beak.

It'll be interesting to see how long these geese stay around!
