Hi, Tweets

A bit late turkey vulture report. I've been a bit under the weather,
but am caught up now - I hope! Thanks for the many reports which I
couldn't answer - sightings are always much appreciated. Turkey
vultures are well on their way north now and March and April should
see some good migration numbers. Following is the February 2012
report for Washington and Oregon:

01 -- 1 at 3 Crabs, Dungeness; 1 circling over lower Lincoln Park
02 -- 1 at the Columbia Gorge
05 -- 1 heading up the I-5 corridor in Oregon
07 -- 1 at South Bend, Oregon; 1 over Portland
09 -- from the OBOL: an increase in turkey vulture sightings in
Astoria, Scappoose, and Sisters, Oregon
11 -- a "saucepan" of 6 vultures, not enough to make a kettle, over
central Medford, Oregon
15 -- 2 at Coos Bay, and 12 east of Bandon, Oregon; turkey vultures
moving daily through the Rogue Valley in Oregon; 2 circling over Naches
17 -- 2 roosting in a Douglas-fir in Bridle Trails SP neighborhood

I already have several March reports so don't forget to look up!
Thanks again for the sightings.

Cheers, Diann
