Subject: [Tweeters] Emperor Geese and Yellow-throated Loons in Sequim area

Glad to hear that these geese are still around. Several of us looked for
them on Saturday but did not find them. Also we looked for Yellow-billed
Loons at John Wayne Marina and except for some 'possible' YT loons that were
all the way on the other side of the water from marina (even with quality
scopes the distance was too far to be absolutely sure); none were found.
Lots of long-tailed ducks were around. A flock of Black Scoters was seen
late in the day from Dungeness Viewpoint. All 4 of our regular alcids were
around and some flocks were fairly large. Smallest number was one pair of
Marbled Murrelets. It was a beautiful day.
