Hello, this is the Audubon Society of Portland Rare Bird Report This report

Two GREAT-TAILED GRACKLES were seen during the week at Miller Island NWR
south of Klamath Falls.

Movements of RUFOUS HUMMINGBIRDS and VIOLET-GREEN SWALLOWS are now passing
through the state. ROBINS are now moving into western Oregon. On March 14 an
OSPREY was in Roseburg. Small numbers of BROWN PELICANS are being reported
along the coast. The recent strong Pacific storms brought small numbers of
RED PHALAROPES to coastal beaches.

On March 9 a BLACK-THROATED GRAY WARBLER was seen near Bandon. A pair of
BLUE-WINGED TEAL were seen March 9 on the North Spit of Coos Bay. The
Florence GLAUCOUS GULL continues to be seen. A female BULLOCK?S ORIOLE is
now coming to a feeder in Bay City.

A male RED-BREASTED MERGANSER was seen March 12 on the Multnomah Channel
north of Linton. The Sauvie island HARRIS?S SPARROW and GOLDEN EAGLE
continue to be seen along Rentenaar Road. On March 11 a GYRFALCON was seen
along McFarland Road south of Corvallis. On March 14 six BLACK-BELLIED
PLOVERS were at Finley NWR. The Alvadore MOCKINGBIRD continues to be seen.
On March 14 a SURF SCOTER was on Dexter Reservoir southeast of Eugene.

A HARRIS?S SPARROW is now coming to a feeder in Summer Lake.
