Hello, Jud and Tweeters,

The two Emperor Geese were still present in Dungeness Bay on Thursday afternoon, 3/15/12. They were visible by scope from Dungeness Landing Park, the county park on Oysterhouse Rd off the east end of Marine Dr in Dungeness. They were hanging out with some roosting cormorants and gulls on the southeast tip of Graveyard Spit, which is the southern extension of Dungeness Spit that points toward Dungeness Landing Park. Best to have a scope to search for them, because they've been seen at other places around Dungeness Bay and off 3 Crabs, like west from the 3 Crabs Restaurant. So look from Dungeness Landing County Park, Cline Spit County Park, and 3 Crabs.

A good map of the bay is at http://www.newdungenesslighthouse.com/Graphics/dungenessmap.gif

Good luck!

Subject: [Tweeters] Request for Update on Emporer Geese at Sequim

Hi Tweets,
Does anyone have an update on the Emperor Geese at Sequim, if they are still around and where to go to best see them? I'm hoping for at least a semi-break in the weather on Saturday and would like to take a look.
Thanks in advance,
Jud Scovill
