The warbler-viewing YouTube Dave Templeton linked to really made my
day, not so much for the bird content (which was excellent), but for
the optional Google speech recognition technology that generates
closed captions as the video plays. We've all seen closed captioning
on TV, and for the most part it does a pretty decent job of
automatically transcribing voice to text. Not so with the Google app.
Most of the captions were so far from the narration as to be
meaningless. Here's a sampling of the funnier ones:

computers in delaware were singing as a blackboard were saying...
batista overcast days can be really good for birds...
said this crazy sounds his competency really help raise places on earth...
india preferred weapon c_-plus rates...
mosbacher micron are improving ten company early immensely migration...
they tend to preferences encouraging and i think warning wearable art...
hypersonic rises in the hands of those extremists...
and it's working iran just before the streamer makes a big easy...
small with money institution launching reading lists sex
