The Othello Sandhill Crane Festival started this afternoon and runs full
bore tomorrow. Guided viewing (after weeks of scouting) is just part of
what is offered. The roost at Scooteney Reservoir, fields immediately north
along Coyan Road, and Columbia NWR farm fields at Road B/C SE and Road E SE
off SR 26 are traditional concentration areas.

Has anyone been to watch the Sandhill Cranes this week in the Othello,
Potholes, Lower Crab Creek area? Or does anyone know the whereabouts of any
large concentrations to watch and enjoy? Please contact me off-line. Thanks
everso, David
