Hi,

We went to eastern Washington yesterday to search for the first spring flowers and saw three good birds, at least for me. These were an Eared Grebe in breeding plumage at South Cle Elum, Mountain Bluebirds at Hayward Hill, and a Sage Sparrow at Gingko Petrified Forest State Park (where we finally found flowers).
