The Emperor Geese are still at Dungeness Bay, swimming together this morning (3/25/12) off the mouth of the Dungeness River.

So my family discussed possible names for the geese. One idea was Peter the Great and Empress Catherine, considering their connection to Siberia. Augustus and Julius? Augustus and Augusta? Napoleon and Josephine? Or perhaps name them after their discoverers, Sue Chickman and Bob Lynette -- Empress Susan and Emperor Robert.

Any ideas?
