Hello all,
I was birding along a pond behind the Canyon Park Business Park near
Bothell and was surprised to see a female Mallard Duck with two chicks
in tow. The chicks were very small, but moving along quite nicely.
Although I admit I have never kept track of these things, it struck me
as especially early for chicks to have hatched and since I haven't
seen anyone else mention chicks hatching yet so I thought I'd throw it
out there.
