Hello All,

>From 1989 to 1993 MerryLynn and I worked at Rosario Marine Station on
Fidelgo Island during summer school. We had the great fortune to bird the
San Juan Islands all five summers. We have only one record of Black-capped
Chickadee and that was at Rosario Marine Station, Fidelgo Island, Skagit Co.
on 5 August 1991- It was a single bird that came into a suit block MerryLynn
had set up. This is the only one we ever encountered in five summers in the
San Juan. We frequently boated all over through the islands and birded many
of them. MerryLynn took several photos of this local rarity and they are
buried somewhere with our slides.
