Subject: [Tweeters] Left and Right, Birds Are Jazzed for Spring

I didn't have to travel far today to see lots of bird activity. Just
a mile from my home, in a half-block area, a female RED-SHAFTED
FLICKER was excavating a new nest cavity. Two snags over a
BLACK-CAPPED CHICKADEE was doing the same. A dash of color was added
by a male ANNA'S HUMMINGBIRD, while the music score was provided by a
boisterous SONG SPARROW and the raspy call of a WILSON'S SNIPE.
