Hi,

Duane Karna, Ann Marie Wood and I chased the Rock Wren today. Thanks to Carla for the previously posted excellent direction. Thanks also to Tom Mansfield whose timely message encouraged us to walk further than we really wanted.

The wren was just about where the driftwood ends - perhaps 3/4 of a mile from the the car park. The bird was very flighty. We also checked out the the other Rock Wren site at Freeland (Mutiny Bay) - where we had a brief tantalizing look at a bird that might have been. Cheers, Steve
