Subject: [Tweeters] Eagle on the Osprey nest

The Osprey nest pole at the Cle Elum exit has had a Bald Eagle perched
on the side of the nest for at least the last 3 days. There is no angle
where you can actually see if there is an Eagle "in" the nest. I'm not
familiar with this behavior. I have seen Canada Geese on Osprey nests.
They seem to always be evicted. A Great Horned Owl could work as a
"time share" but . . .

The Osprey are due back any day now. I am curious what's the likely
outcome? I wonder, with the increase in the Bald Eagle population, will
we be seeing this more?
