I went to Semiahmoo Spit and Blaine Harbor today...saw several kinds of
grebes including a red necked grebe, several eraed grebes and four horned
grebes. Also saw a Pacific Loon (actually two) and two common loons plus
the usual suspects: three kinds of scoters, lesser scaups ( a bunch),
common goldeneyes, a few buffleheads, common mergansers (4), harlequins,
two bald eagles, at least 12 great blue herons, and a belted kingfisher.
