I can give you one data point. A pair of Osprey had a nest on a cell
phone tower near my home for many years. Two years ago a pair of Bald
Eagles were there during the winter, but left when the Osprey returned.
Last year the Eagles set up housekeeping (raised one chick) and the
Osprey relocated a mile or two away. This spring the Eagles are back on
the nest. The Osprey have returned and have been in the area of their
new nest. I can't actually see if they are on the nest or not.
