Hi Tweets,
My partner and I recently returned from a short but sweet trip to Panama.
Below is a list of birds we saw, most of which were seen with the help of
an amazing guide. Also, although I am not a good photographer, here is a

I did not get any good pictures of toucans, parrots or
parakeets...we did see plenty of them, though. Also, we saw 4 different
types of trogons, among many other great birds, three types of monkeys and
two types of sloths.

Due to shortage of time, the trip was limited to the central area of the
country, primarily around Soberania National Park. I can highly recommend
Sierra Llorona Panama Lodge, near Colon on the Caribbean side, which was
very reminiscent of Cave Creek Ranch in Arizona. Also, if anyone is
interested, I can give you the name of the professional guide we hired for
a day.
