hi all ... 2 nights ago I got up at 3 am to open a window and was
overjoyed to hear a GREAT HORNED OWL hooting from one of the big firs
in the backyard !!!!!!!!! ... a YARD FIRST !!!!!!!!!! ... I could
hear other neighbors opening doors and walking around on their decks
too so I'm assuming the owl must have just arrived and everyone was
trying to figure out where he was ... well, I went back to bed
enjoying the hoots ... Gene however grumbled quite a bit in the
morning saying that $*&*&% owl kept that hooting up ALL NIGHT LONG
!!!!!! ... (grin) ...
