Shep Thorp and I had great counts along Ruh Red Rd in the rain, including both Wilson's and red necked phalarope, and good numbers of western, least, sandpipers and L B dowitchers, along with high numbers of avocets and BN stilts, and apparent nesting black crowned night heron. Yesterday walked from Rock Island in OO to the north shore of Stinking Lake, for 997 Wilson's phalarope, 2142 eared grebe (displaying), and 398 ruddy ducks. Derrick Lake (also in OO) showed FOY black tern.
