On Saturday May 5th I
located a beautiful western kingbird in a field south of the corner of
Wenzel Slough Rd and Keys Rd. It was covering a lot of ground and I
located first from Wenzel Slough Rd. and then again from across the
field on Keys Rd.

It was alternating
from perching on low wooden posts and fluttering with its tail splayed
open low above the grass. Very beautiful surprise.

Also 127 Whimbrels in a cow pasture on the west of Keys Rd.

Also lots of Band-tailed pigeons here.

Also went out to Grey's Harbor. I saw the white goose and would be interested in further discussion on it's identity.
