Tweeters, Jeff Kozma and I are seeking volunteer help with our white-headed woodpecker research study. We need help searching for territorial pairs, locating nests, and assisting with banding or telemetry, depending on interest. Equipment and training can be provided. Study sites are in Yakima and Chelan County. For those coming from far away or wanting to stay overnight, free camping available (with showers, etc.) at a cabin along the beautiful Tieton River, near Rimrock Retreat.
