David and I were a couple of days late on the Wilson?s Phalarope at 204th, having just returned from a late morning attempt. Either she is gone or hiding elsewhere. We did see one Greater Yellowlegs, a mixed flock of Least and Western Sandpipers, and about 10 LB Dowitchers. There were between 30 and 40 American Pipits on both sides towards the east end of the road. We made a quick stop at Kent Ponds, but only at the Grassy Overlook (or is it Grassy Knoll?) We were pleased to see a Redhead drake and a Cinnamon Teal, along with N Shovelers, Coots, Mallards, Am Wigeons, and Gadwalls. Overhead were 4 calling Ospreys with a RT Hawk in their little ?kettle? and 2 Bald Eagles, and adult and an immature. We thought we might see some warblers, but only picked up YRs.

We really need to jump on these things sooner, I guess!
