Hi Tweeters,
I led a biodiversity field trip for some UW Biology students this morning, and our top highlight was an unexpected Golden Eagle flyover (pic link below). ?Another highlight was a birder pointing out a Wilson's Phalarope to us. ?
There were lots of other birds about, but nothing too surprising. ?These biodiversity trips involve leading students who typically may not have even heard of a Robin, so it's a particularly great bonus to find unexpected birds when entertaining such a group. ?And to top it off, one of the students was the one who took the documenting photos.
