Sorry for the late report. I was at GRNRA Saturday early and found lots of birds. Of note were a small flock of Cedar Waxwings in, what else but a small cedar tree, and a sole Western Bluebird.

Others:

American Bittern, displaying and calling
Western Scrub Jay
Rufous Males, several
Common Yellowthroats, lots
Song Sparrow
House Swallow
Tree Swallow, gathering grass for nests
Canada Goose
Great Blue Heron, coming and going from rookery behind the animal shelter
Savannah Sparrow
Yellow Rumped Warblers
Marsh Wrens, very vocal
Spotted Towhees
American Goldfinch
Red Winged Blackbird, lots
Osprey, 1 overhead
and a River Otter!

Great day with interesting birds.
