On a half-day Eastside Audubon Birdathon field trip four birders saw 48 species of birds at Lake Sammamish State Park in Issaquah on Saturday, May 12, 2012. Highlights include a singing Black-headed Grosbeak, a Dunlin, Caspian Terns, a Western Wood-Pewee, a Warbling Vireo, four species of swallows, and five species of warblers including Common Yellowthroats with nesting material.
