Took a brief detour on the way to work this morning to see if the damaged
Dunlin (a non-breeding plumaged bird with a stub for a right foot) seen
there yesterday was still around. It wasn't visible, but instead, a bright
male Lazuli Bunting was, flitting around the marsh ponds.
