Can anyone tell me if the Caspian Terns that roost on the Interbay rooftop also nest there? I photographed them last spring and summer, and have been photographing them several times a week since they arrived earlier in April. But, because of the roof design and lack of proximity, I can't get a good picture of the actual activity on the roof itself. And I don't have a spotting scope. I've only been in Seattle a few years and don't want to be redundant if this information has been covered on the list previously.

A few days ago, a hundred or more of these same terns were bathing, preening, engaging in courtship displays, and bringing home fish -- while perched on a sand bar at low tide. It's such a delight to be surrounded by the gravelly voices of the Caspians. I posted a few recent pics on my Flickr photostream (http://www.flickr.com/photos/taylar/).
