Was a great day for FOY migrants for us on the Dungeness River today.
Sara Cendejas-Zarelli and I had a male Western Tanager right by the
visitor parking at the State Hatchery, Warbling Vireos singing away,
and a couple already paired at Woodcock Rd. and the riparian near
Towne Rd. Also at Towne Rd. was a gorgeous male Bullock's Oriole and
several Yellow Warblers. We also stopped by Three Crabs and saw 5
Purple Martins hanging about the nest boxes.
What a gorgeous day!
Good Birding,
