We searched Bellefields trail at Mercer Slough from about 6-7:30 pm this
evening. Also we did not find the Rose-breasted Grosbeak reported earlier.
We saw Ed Deal as he was leaving and got his negative report. But it was
nice and we figured we might as well take a walk and see what we could find.


To add to nice birds seen that Ed did not mention, we had 1 Barred Owl and 2
Pileated Woodpeckers. One woodpecker entered a large cavity.

Mosquitoes were not bothering us; but they will be fierce soon.
