> This morning, Jim Acton found a BLACK-THROATED SPARROW at Davenport Cemetery, a Lincoln County 1st record. At midday Jim and Chris Janett relocated the bird and I ran over there around 3:15 and found the bird singing in a tree near the grass/brush pile in the corner. Big thanks to Jim and Chris for timely reporting. I believe this is the 3rd, possibly 4th Black-throated Sparrow in WA so far this year, so there seems to be a small pattern, possibly.

> Yesterday, I located a flock of 13 PECTORAL SANDPIPERS at Reardan ponds. The flock was still present today and joined by 4 BAIRD'S SANDPIPERS. Pectorals and a lesser extent Baird's are rare in WA in spring.
