I spent a few hours yesterday birding around Discovery Park. I
looked for the Black-throated Sparrow that was reported on the 16th,
but to no avail. I did have an OLIVE-SIDED FLYCATCHER on a small snag
just south of the visitor's center, and a WESTERN WOOD-PEWEE east of
the south parking lot. A few additional birds during my visit were
YELLOW, WILSON'S, and ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLERS, BLACK-HEADED GROSBEAK,
BARRED OWL (heard), WARBLING VIREO, and PACIFIC WREN.

Cheers and Good Birding;
