I looked out the kitchen window this afternoon and saw a group of
eight fledgling dark-eyed juncos on the ground in my backyard. Their
population has been building for the last ten days or so. The only
adult supervision seemed to come from a single golden-crowned sparrow.

I have some pictures on my website from last week when the adults were
still feeding the juveniles, but that seems to be over now or maybe
the adults just know when to stay in out of the rain.
