My wife & I took Hawaii Forest and Trail?s Dry Forest / Rain Forest Birding Tour in February. We thought it was very good. Gary, our guide, was very knowledgeable and eager to share his experiences with us. The company seems to be very well organized and I?ve also heard good things about their other bird tours. Some of our group were satisfied returning customers having taken the tour as many as four times before, We saw 9 of the endangered endemic Hawaiian species during our day trip.

My wife and I are planning a trip to Hawaii's Big Island in November - does anyone have any recommendations for bird guides there? I have been looking at the website of an outfit called "Hawaii Forest and Trail Birding Tour" - anyone have any experience with them?
