Spent the past couple days in the Toppenish area and saw some great
birds.Got back into the routine of my afternoon walk at the wetlands today
and was surprised to see two new birds for me at Gog-le-hi-te. There were
a pair of BLUE-WINGED TEAL in the small pond at the north edge of the
grassy meadow as well as a GREEN HERON and three SPOTTED SANDPIPER.
Feeding on the ground at the south edge of the meadow was a YELLOW-HEADED
BLACKBIRD. The blackbird and the Teal were the new ones for this spot.
Got a crummy photo of each as well as a few crummy shots from Toppenish.
