Subject: [Tweeters] A Barred in the yard

Last Saturday 5/19 I heard a steller's jay ruckus at my neighbor's place.
Upon further inspection I saw their target--a barred owl in a cedar tree.
After awhile the steller's took off and were replaced by a gaggle of
robins. The owl looked bored as they screamed around him. Yesterday I
spotted him in my yard, with his entourage of robins. Then tonight he's
back up at the neighbors, hooting and being answered by Mrs. Barred.

Also heard the FOY Swainson's thrush on the Snoqualmie Trail yesterday
(Sunday).
