I saw a pair of Lazuli Buntings this afternoon in Skamokawa on Middle Valley Road, just north of the Ingalls Road junction. Other birds of interest for Wahkiakum County over the past week were three Red-necked Phalaropes off Hornstra Beach spit and a Great Egret flying over Elochoman Slough.
