Hi Tweets,

During an Eastside Audubon trip to Eastern Washington on May 21, while birding the Robinson Canyon Road, we saw a male BUSHTIT feeding in a medium-sized bush in the small riparian area on the paved road just before it turns into gravel (same area where the Bullock's Orioles nest). Then, later, as were walking and birding on the dirt road, just before the gate, we spotted a small flock of BLACK SWIFTS (6). It was a drizzly, cool morning and the sky ceiling was low, and they were feeding right overhead of us, about 40-50 feet up. About 20 minutes later, we spotted a few VAUX'S SWIFTS, giving us an opportunity to discuss and compare field marks.
