Last month Dennis Paulson wrote about pursuing grouse in S.E Idaho and in passing mentioned a couple areas I had never visited. I decided I should do something about that and when a nice spell of weather came along in May, I went.

I checked out several locations but the notable ones were; Camas NWR, Mud Lake WMA, Market Lake WMA all near Dubois, ID and, on the way home, Camas Prairie Centennial Marsh WMA just off Hwy 20 between Mountain Home and Sun Valley.

Not having a long lens and using my 70-200mm and doubler for everything proved to be quite a challenge. But, even so, I got some photos I?m happy with and have several posted now. I have more that I will put up over the next couple of weeks while I think about where to go during the nice weather we will have in June.

I have also posted some musings about the trip and the lens thing.
