Late this afternoon and early evening I hiked
through Seward Park. In addition to my FOY
Swainson's Thrush and a few warblers, I was very
pleased to have 5 Woodpeckers: Downy, Hairy, Red
Breasted Sapsucker, Pileated and Northern
Flicker. I have had all of those species there
before but never on the same day. There were also
a Cooper's Hawk, Bald Eagle and Red Tailed Hawk
and a probable Merlin.
