Terry Kaufman had good looks at "no less than 4 Lazuli Buntings" at Kent Ponds this morning, singing and chasing each other around trying to establish territory. In Auburn, one Lazuli Bunting has arrived. He is perched up and singing on the frontage road in front of Emerald Downs. I sat in the car and viewed him at 6:30 am and again at 1:30 pm at the 2nd pullout. There is still water in the seasonal pond there. Waterfowl at the pond included N. Shovelers.
