Today I saw 3 Whimbrels (probably part of the group that has been there for
a week or so) and 1 American Avocet. The Avocet was shy and barely
recognizable through binoculars. The Whimbrel were not too far from the
boardwalk but unfortunately looking right into the sun so no good images.
