Dick,
Was the loon in breeding plumage or non-breeding plumage? This would be
helpful to anyone else looking for the bird.

Subject: [Tweeters] Yellow-billed Loon Drayton Harbor
I spent Sunday birding with Mitch Blanton and Mary Frances Mathis. We
stayed in the Bellingham area and worked our way up to Semiahmoo Spit.
Viewing from the spit out into Drayton harbor we were able to find a
Yellow-billed Loon. At the end of Marine Drive in Blaine there were many
Common Terns on the beach among the Caspian Terns.
