This morning, after an unsuccessful fishing trip, I tried exploring the Port of Kalama north beach area. I had never been there before and was very happy I went.

Highlights were many ORIOLES, PEWEES, WILLOW FLYCATCHERS. A single HORNED LARK, 2 WESTERN KINGBIRDS. I also saw a lone BANK SWALLOW, I imagine it had friends around but there was a shortage of swallow of any sort.
