Went to Westport/ South Grays Harbor area on Saturday the 26th. Didn't
see any red knot, but we did see 3 wandering tattler near the viewing
tower, and a red-throated loon at a pond near the southern parking lot
at Half Moon Bay. Also, at Bottle Beach we saw black-bellied plover
(which were a lifer for me) and a few other species.

My favorite thing with shorebirds is when they hop around on one foot.
It's kind of cute, in a pitiful kind of way.
