Subject: [Tweeters] Anna's Hummingbird
Date: May 29 16:01:55 2012

This morning in my restoration site along Idaho St in Discovery Park, an adult female Anna's was gathering downy material from pussy willows. Given the date, this almost certainly indicates a second nesting for the year. An adult male's display territory is close by, though this does not mean that the female would nest in or nearby to the male bird.
Also this morning an Osprey was carrying nesting material towards the pylons at Pier 91.
