Subject: [Tweeters] More on spring Swainson's Hawks west of the Cascades
Date: May 29 19:14:19 2012
From: Bud Anderson - falconresearch at gmail.com

Carole Hallett, a good friend and colleague who works on raptors at the
Portland International Airport in Oregon, reported having four Swainson's
Hawks hanging out there on Monday. She caught and banded one of them, a
first for PDX.
She also sighted at least one very late, dark morph Harlan's Hawk in this
same group of hawks.
Very unusual to say the least.
