The bill drove me straight to the gnatcatchers,?the warblers or the pipits..? Since I can't recall a gnatcatcher with breast stripes, and the undertail pattern seems to eliminate a pipit,?I'll have to stick?with the warblers.
?
Just has the jizz of a juvenile, so I'm taking the coloring and pattern with a grain of salt.
?
Canditates include Juv. Blackpoll..............but the legs are too dark
??????????????????????????? Juv. Cape May............Seems to fit, so that's my guess.

But what's it doing out here!?

Hi Tweets,

I could use some help with a bird ID.

While walking the East Snoqualmie Valley Trail near Stillwater today, Tina Blade and I saw a pair of gray, black and white birds we could not identify--possibly warblers or vireos? They were seen in the tops of 10-15-foot willows, from the vantage point of a bridge so that they were about eye level.

Here are two photos, both of the same individual though both birds looked similar if not identical:
