After our weekend of Breeding Bird Surveys in Okanogan County, Scott Hoskin and I spent Tuesday May 29th birding around headquarters of the Sinlahekin Wildlife Area where we found a male Rose-breasted Grosbeak. This full breeding plumage adult was in the riparian area just south west of the headquarters buildings.
If you are looking for this brilliant bird, Dale Swedberg manager of the refuge knows the location of the sighting.
