I had an hour to spend in Magnuson Park late this afternoon (5-31-12).
There was an Olive-sided Flycatcher near Promontory Point, seen from
the lower part of the trail, just beyond the shelter. It was to the
north at the top of one of the dead trees. It kept flying out and then
returning a few minutes later with snacks. I watched it for about half
an hour and it kept returning to the same two trees. I also stumbled
into the Spotted Sandpipers in the wetlands.
