My wife and I just spent eight days birding in the Palm Springs area.? We had a very good time?including birding twice with a talented group of birders at Big Morongo Canyon Preserve.? I would be happy to share more details with anyone who is interested in our experiences.? An American Kestrel used the telephone poles across the street from our motel as perches for hunting.?
